Our Mission:
The Stewart Community Home is committed to offering compassionate and secure housing for adults with disabilities, assisting them as they transition from homelessness or difficult situations and allowing them to realize their God given dignity to achieve relative independence, all for their well-being and the glory of God.
Our Goal:
To provide permanent and transitional safe housing for those homeless and disabled adults requiring limited personal care by providing nutritious meals, medical stabilization programs, and activities to maximize essential life skills.
We provide:
The Stewart Home understands how to care for people who struggle with a physical disability or a mental illness. We work with hospitals, court systems, law enforcement agencies, mental health facilities, and families to provide a safe and supportive environment where people can thrive and reach their highest level of independence. We provide transitional and permanent housing for people who are unable to find it anywhere else regardless of their ability to pay.
We are always looking for passionate and dedicated volunteers to help us carry out our mission. Whether you have a few hours to spare or want to make a long-term commitment, there are many ways to get involved and make a difference.
