Dear Friends
The Stewart Home is not out of the woods yet, but the wonderful support that we have received from the community leaves us hopeful and optimistic for the future of the Stewart Home. We have heard time and time again that “Columbus needs the Stewart Home. We have to support it so that it can continue to serve the population of disabled homeless here. Otherwise, they have no place to go.”
Our initial goal was to have enough financial support to get the Stewart Home through the first 90 days in order to have time to implement our new business plan. Once that is in effect, the Stewart Home will be much more self-reliant with adequate funding to remain operationally stable. We have met a substantial part of that goal and are thrilled that we have been able to continue thus far. We have high hopes that the momentum will remain steady, and we will continue to receive the kind of support we have had over the last three weeks.
If you have already given, THANK YOU! Your support has meant a world of difference to the residents and staff of the Stewart Home. If you are considering giving, I urge you to reach out to learn more about what the Stewart Home does and how it plans to become and remain a sustainable organization to serve those most in need in our community. Please prayerfully consider how you can help. Any and all help is appreciated.
Most sincerely,
Kara VinZant
Executive Director
